Compensation for broadband and landline users

 The Regulator Ofcom has announced that broadband and landline users will get automatic compensation of £8 per day for poor service. 

From early in 2019 they will automatically get £8 per day if their service is not working, or if the service is not fixed after two days.  A delayed starting date will mean compensation of £5 per day, and a missed engineer's appointment £25 per day.
