Moira is a fully qualified professional business consultant, committed to helping businesses develop through effective planning and people development. A graduate of Winning Edge Business School, Moira has gained wide experience at strategic and operational levels in a range of sectors throughout the UK.
Starting her business career as office manager to architectural and consulting engineers’ practices, she then moved into the enterprise network, identifying the development needs of small businesses in rural areas and creating innovative links with training organisations.
This experience led her into the further education sector where she worked at the interface between university departments and employers, designing training courses to meet employers’ specifications. She also organised a wide variety of workshops and conferences to meet the continuing professional development needs of academic staff.
Moira progressed to Director level in the voluntary sector before setting up Future Focus Scotland Ltd, in 2002.
Moira is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, an approved mentor with the Scottish Leadership Foundation and an approved consultant with Charities Aid Foundation.
